1.      Apostate: a person who renounces a religion belief



2.      Effusive: Expressing feelings of gratitude

3.      Impasse: A situation in which no progress is possible, because of disagreement; a deadlock

4.      Euphoria: A feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness

5.      Lugubrious: Looking or sounding sad and dismal

6.      Bravado: A bold manner or a show of boldness intended to impress or intimidate

7.      Consensus: General agreement

8.      Dichotomy: A division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different

9.      Constrict: Make narrower, esp. by encircling pressure
