Thanks for your letter and I hope my advice will help you make up your mind about this young man. I can tell your in a quagmire because you want to trust your brother and father but at the same time you have strong feelings towards this prince. First I think you should ask yourself what is it about this man that makes him so attractive for you. Does he have this bravado all the time that impresses you, does he make you laugh a lot, or is there this unexplainable mystique around him that just grabs your attention. Once you've thought about his character and you have a good idea about the things that attract you towards him I want you to think about your brother and father. Why do they feel these strong emotions against this young man? Does he bring you into parlous situations? Do they think he is fulsome to a degree that's not genuine or do they think he has something to dissimulate that he's not sharing with you? I don't know you or this man well enough to tell you if he is the one for you. But it seems like your brother and father care about you and they are trying to protect you. If you listened to your brother and father immediately and just caught off your relationship with this young man you would be in a state of malcontent for a long period of time and you might hate your brother and father for even longer because you were forced to make a choice that was supposed to be yours. Here's my advice to you. Keep seeing this man but don't give your heart to him no matter how tempting it may seem. Even if you know he's the one don't give it to him because your only setting yourself up for disappointing and ultimately bane because he now has the power to leave with your heart and without that we are empty. I'm not saying this to discourage you from having a wonderful and happy relationship with this man but life is to short to risk it on a young prince. Lastly you need to respect your brother and father and take their warnings into consideration. In the end though you are the one that makes the choice and I hope after this letter you can make the right one.
