The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

Paraphrase: Frost presents the reader with a situation of choice. Two roads that lead to the same forest but with different experiences on the way. One road appears safer than the other but that doesn't make the choice any easier. There is almost no chance of him returning from the road he chooses. It's a hard choice but he hast to make one. The more risky road is his final choice. He will recall this day and remember his choice and how it effected his life. If the effects benefited him or not is unclear.

Purpose: Emphasize the importance of one choice. Not all choices are equally impacting in there consequences but some will last you a life time.

Structure: Every other line rhymes except for the last line of every paragraph.
