- Malcolm slaughtered family so they wouldn't get revenge
- Shakespeare changed elements for drama and political correctness
- King was in play very bad when king died
- Schadenfreude
- In Elizabethan Chistian culture witches were devils agents
- James first made being a witch a capital punishment
- Witches were evil but Macbeth was worse because associated with them
- Macbeth will have outward reward but internal misery
- Banquoe will have opposite, birth kings
- Banquoe is warming Macbeth
- Pour my spirits in thy ear, poison and philosophy
- Lady Macbeth wants to be a man Macbeth is consumed about consequences
- Why should he kill the king" Both of them are loved
- She is not confused about her sex, she just hates cowardliness
- Spongy officers, absorbed alcohol and no spine
Hi Justin I was wondering what you mean in your notes by saying people graphically die? Do you mean they focused on gory deaths in the play? Could you comment to my notes too please?
